Christmas Fun!

Merry Christmas to All!

We were so excited and thankful for Christmas this year.  First and foremost we were HOME, surrounded by loved ones.  We have learned through this journey that not all are able to be home at the holidays and even worse, some of experienced tragedy and loved ones are no longer with us.  In this Christmas and holiday season, please take a moment to pray for those for whom the holidays are hard to get through due to their personal struggle and situation.  You never know an individual's battle or what they are struggling through!

The PLAN this Christmas was to spend the week with the Trueblood family in NC to have all 4 kids, grandparents and 7 grandkids all together for only the 2nd time (1st Christmas).  The Trueblood clan is largely comprised of Air Force pilots so normally they are stationed around the world or otherwise serving abroad.  This was the first year in many that the clan could all get together.

And then cancer happened...

Cooper and us were very saddened that due to intensification starting and the travel, we were unable to be with everyone.  Not all was lost as Mimi and Pops (pronounced Pots by the Grandkids) were able to come early and spend Christmas Day with us before driving back south to be with the rest of the family.  We had a wonderful time with them.  Cooper felt great, which was the way the doctors designed this phase to end.  They delayed his start of Delayed Intensification by a few days simply to allow him the ability to feel good for Christmas and enjoy his day.  Thank you for that!

We hope each and every one of you enjoyed your Christmas and holiday to the max!  We are greatful for all of you and especially grateful that we were able to be home and comfortable.

Happy New Year!
The Truebloods

Christmas Eve at Home!

It was definitely a Harry Potter Christmas!

Evyn's not really sure what's going on!

The Grand Prize!  Cooper is so fortunate!  Family, friends, neighbors all pitched in to get Cooper the "professional" HP Hogwarts castle lego set.  This is the 2nd biggest set that LEGO makes coming in at 6020 pieces!  Yes, he can build this and no, Daddy cannot help :) Thank you to everyone who helped make his Christmas list a reality!
